Administrative Educational Facilitator: April D. Young
Ms. April has a background in education, mental health, management, emergency services, and the legal field. She has a passionate love for history, art, music, organizing, and learning. She attended Motlow State then Middle Tennessee State University on academic scholarship for college, majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law while minoring in Psychology, Criminal Justice, and History. While in college was honored to serve as SGA VP, then President, as well as a member of TISL, Mock Trial, etc. She never stopped learning and continues to do so today. Furthering her education at Harvard Extension School and with many other sources being certificated in many areas and fields.
Her overlapping careers have given her lots of work experience in varying fields. April had owned and operated her own day school, been the director of a private school, and continues to teach classes in criminal justice settings. She as managed two mental health facilities and continues to facilitate NAMI group sessions. April has been on every side of the bench in the court room, from sitting beside the judge and then typing up his order, to standing in front of the judge arguing and advocating for clients and services, as well as the role of the person in the court room that was assigned those services. April has worked crisis hotlines and answered 911 for decades as an EPD, EFD, and EMD and well as a member of the police department's crisis intervention team.
Once nominated for "Most Involved" for high school superlatives the tradition followed her into adulthood. April has been the President of the International Mom Club, Founders of a local Moms Club, President of Youth Cheerleading League, Girls Scouts Troop Leader, Elected member of the county's Library Board. She volunteers in many roles included by not limited to Church Youth Programs, CASA, etc. April is a certified life coach, ordained minister, and holistic nutritionist. She looks forward to organizing and being a house mom for the new Homeschool High School Greek Clubs in the coming years. She loves networking; Find her on LinkedIn and hit add! Educational Facilitator - Timothy E. Hendrickson
Mr. Tim attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he got his degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training. While at UT, he played soccer and then helped manage the women's team. After college he continued coaching after becoming employed at Franklin County High School where he coached the male and female teams for many years. Tim also has a knack for business! He has successful owned and operated several businesses over the years. As well as been in local and regional management for larger companies: Walmart, Rite Aid, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Anthony & Sylvan pools, where he is currently the Director of Operations.

Educational Assist - Angela R. Hendrickson
Mrs. Angie adores volunteering and helping in all ways possible with the department of children services and foster systems. Some might say that it was her destiny. She has a background in human resources, management, business, and horticulture. Mrs. Angie has a natural gift when it comes to English and the Language Arts. She's the go to for proofreads and ELA support, not to mention definiately the go to on how to grow a plant! Aside from running a household and being a caregiver of many from very young to very old, along with her other duties, she's flipping houses like she has her own HGTV show doing the construction, interior design, and marketing.

While all courses are facilitated by one of the three mentioned above, we would like to give recognition to the following educators, instructors, and administrators who contributed to the education process via in-person or online courses, classes or certifications. As well as those who have offered to lead classes in their areas of speciality for other who may be interested.
